Yes—pet-friendly sessions are welcome. Some areas in and around the park have pet restrictions, so we’ll plan locations accordingly.

How do we book and when do we pay?

Send an inquiry with your preferred date and time. A signed agreement and retainer reserve your session; the remaining balance is due by session day.

What’s the turnaround time and how do we get our photos?

Your edited gallery is delivered within two weeks via a private online link. You can download files and order prints directly from the gallery.

Do you offer extended family sessions?

Yes. Share your group size in your inquiry and I’ll recommend timing and a location that fits everyone comfortably.

Q: When is the best time for family photos in Zion?

Sunrise and golden hour (the hour before sunset) provide soft light and fewer crowds. Spring and fall are mild; winter can be calm and beautiful too.

Q: How long is a session and how many photos do we get?

Sessions are up to 1 hour. You’ll receive a minimum of 50 high-resolution, edited images in a private online gallery.

Q: What’s included in the $500 session?

Up to 1 hour of photography, at least 50 edited images, a private online gallery, easy print ordering, and delivery within two weeks.

Q: Where do sessions happen—inside the park or nearby?

Both are options. We can shoot inside Zion National Park or at nearby locations around Springdale and Virgin with similar views and easier logistics.

Q: Do we need a permit or park pass?

You don’t need to handle permits; if anything is required, I take care of it. If we shoot inside Zion National Park, your family will still need a standard park entry pass.

Q: Can grandparents, toddlers, or strollers come?

Yes. I’ll recommend locations with short, easy approaches and smooth surfaces when needed to match your family’s mobility.

Q: What if the weather looks iffy?

I monitor conditions closely. If needed, we’ll pivot to a nearby location or adjust our start time. Safety and good light come first.
