TBH—Most people only have a few of the pieces worked out, like what time of year they want to get married, if they are looking at Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite, Zion National Park, or elsewhere, and/or overall vibe they're excited about.
what if i told you you don't need to have it all figured out to get started?
that's where I come in.

Our experience with Jaymie was great from the start... Jaymie’s knowledge of Yosemite and her creativity allowed her to elevate our experience and captured images beyond our imagination. When rain washed out our planned sunset hike to Taft Point, she suggested a “Valley Romp” where we could hop out at various spots in the valley. She even offered umbrellas and lots of enthusiasm. That pivot gave us the opportunity to get photos with a rainbow over half dome, which for us was like hitting the lottery. We would give her 100 stars if we could.

Jaymie is beyond talented and give you more than just photos, she helps create moments that you will treasure for a lifetime. We came in looking for a mammoth wedding photographer but we ended up with a friend! Her photos are beyond breathtaking. Jaymie not only took photos of our special day, she added more than we could have ever imagined. I will always recommend Jaymie to anyone looking for moments to be captured and created together!

We booked a session with Jaymie and our experience was beyond amazing. She has such a quick turnaround and her photos are excellent quality. I'm very camera shy but felt comfortable during the session. Her calm and warm nature made it much easier to relax and feel natural. We enjoyed our time with Jaymie so much we would love if she could do our wedding photos as well! It definitely takes patience and a great attitude to try and photograph two cats and a husky at the same time.

The park was doing last minute construction and we had to change the wedding location the morning of. Jaymie showed up an hour early (on her own) to scope out the new location and even emailed the park to see about other locations. That was all before she even met us in person! Her photos speak for themselves, but if you’re looking for someone to make you feel taken care of, beautiful, and to have so much fun on your hikes to your photo spots - she. Is. Your. Girl. Cannot recommend her enough. Thanks so much again, Jaymie, for all you did for us!!
Jaymie is the kind of person you want in your corner on your elopement day.
You might think I’m just here to take photos—but my role goes way beyond that. I’m your teammate through this whole experience, offering ideas, guidance, and honest support to help you create a day that feels like you—fun, meaningful, and rooted in what matters most.
I’ve spent years exploring the mountains and deserts of Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite, Zion, and Kanab. That deep, local knowledge means I can help you find the perfect ceremony spot—whether it’s a quiet overlook with no one around, a hidden alpine lake, or an easy-access location that still feels wild. I know how the light moves, what the weather’s like, when the trails are quiet, and how to adapt when plans change.
At the end of the day, my goal is to help you feel grounded, supported, and inspired—so you can be fully present with each other. If you’re dreaming of an intentional elopement in the mountains or the desert, I’d love to help bring it to life. Reach out and let’s start planning something unforgettable together.
xx Jaymie

First and foremost, I think it's important to wear something that makes you feel most like yourself. The more comfortable you are, the more that will shine through in photos! I do offer a what to wear guide for each specific location we may go to! This will be emailed to you during our planning process
What Do We Wear To Our Photoshoot?
Adventure Sessions are 1-2 hour photo sessions typically used for proposals, engagements, anniversaries, or just because. We pick one or two close locations and hike up to two miles. Note, this package does not fit as an option for elopements — your wild day deserves more time and attention than that!
What is an adventure session?
I do! I photograph families in Mammoth Lakes, CA and Zion National Park. You can find more of that work on the families page.
