Mammoth Family Photographer | Fall Mini Sessions
Remember when I posted about having spots available for my mini sessions this November? Well those spots filled and that weekend came and went! It’s late December and this Mammoth Lakes Photographer is finally getting to post about this wonderful event!
The weekend had amazing weather with clear skies and chilly evenings. In true Desert Paintbrush fashion, we had few posed photos with the set and a lot of play! Everyone made it on time and flowed smoothly. I enjoyed meeting everyone I was communicating with for months and finally putting names to faces. Many were families who live in the Mammoth community and it’s always a treat to work with other locals! I love running into people at the grocery store or coffee shop or on the mountain! That’s such a joy for Mammoth Lakes Photographers.
I still can’t get over how gorgeous and seasonal the florals from Red Lily Design were and how fitting the set by Rummage Girl was. One of my favorite moments happened when one of the women of the family I was working with surprised her family by sharing the news of her pregnancy with her husband, son, and mother. The tears of joy were flowing in front of the camera and behind.
This was such a fun way to work with people! I think next year we’ll have a mini session earlier in November and maybe down in Bishop so everyone can be nice and warm. What do you think? Where would you like to do a mini session and what season? Let me know in the comments.
