I’ve been so excited to share about this Moab Elopement with you all! One of the things I love the most about elopements is how unique each and every one is. This elopement planned and documented for Brice and Sadie was no different! I photographed their engagement session earlier in the year and since we both live in Mammoth Lakes, CA I was even able to meet in person with these two to go over everything. The two of them casted a vision for what their wedding day could look like and together we made it a reality!
One thing I know well about Brice and Sadie is that they have a strong love for the desert and getting off the beaten path. These two spent a year living out of their subaru/rooftop tent exploring and climbing their war around the country. They know how to rough it! In light of their wedding day they decided to treat theirselves and rented the coolest Airbnb by Canyonlands National Park.
Finding Hair and Make Up available for an April Moab Elopement was difficult but Sadie was finally able to find someone! All About Looks Image came all the way from Grand Junction, CO and did a fantastic job. The day ran beautifully. Mother nature had a plan to keep the wind blowing through most of the day. This added to the excitement and unpredictability of the day.
There is only so much you can do to prepare for your Moab Elopement. You can plan, have a back up plan, have all the right gear, and check all the boxes. At the end of the day the most important thing to bring on your wedding day is the release of expectation and control. You’ve done the work. It’s going to go as smoothly as it can. The best thing to remember is WHY you’re there in the first place… getting married to your forever person.
