Convict Lake Elopement | Lindsay & Michael

It’s not a true Eastern Sierra experience without having a Plan A, B, and C. Especially if it’s fire season. This McLeod Lake Elopement turned into a Convict Lake Elopement Experience!

One thing I am so grateful for are when the couples I work with show up ready to adapt. That’s what I love about elopements! These are handcrafted days that are formed to reflect you and your love. If, like Lindsay and Michael during their Elopement, you show up and the smoke comes barreling in in after a bluebird day—you’ve gotta think quick.

Since I have to do this every time I want to go outside during Fire Season, I had multiple resources to use to find a smoke free area. Same goes for wind, snow, rain, you name it! This time Convict Lake was in the clear! I called Lindsay and Mike, sent them images of the location, and they were game.

One moment from this day that will forever be seared in my memory is when Lindsay turned to tell me this was the perfect location and she was so thankful we ended up here. All I want is for you to have the best wedding day possible, help you think on your feet, and capture every moment along the way. This takes trust! Thank you Lindsay and Mike for trusting me. It’s an honor to be a part of your Convict Lake Elopement.
