I am a Mammoth Lakes Photographer who specializes in crafting a damn good time. If you are planning to propose, newly engaged, celebrating an anniversary, or want photos 'just because', allow me to craft your photo experience! I work with each couple to understand their vision and make it come alive as stress-free and fun as possible.

 I've been a photographer for 14 years now and truly love what I do. I see photography as a way to connect with people, see who you are, and give that back to you in a tangle way—through images of moments witnessed together. You don't need to show up as anyone but yourself during our photo sessions. You are enough.

You see, I take photos that will make you say “OMG THATS ME!” by hand tailoring an experience that honors you and your unique story. I don't just show up and take photos—I plan an unforgettable outdoor photo experience for you AND capture all of the moments. I make your life easier by listening to what your dream wedding or adventure session or family experience and helping you turn that into a reality.

Love is love and there is no room for exclusion of any kind. This means all gender and non-gendered people are welcome. All people of color, black, indigenous are welcome. All body sizes are celebrated. We celebrate and welcome all Queer couples and families.

Each person I get to work with is different and deserves the space to be themselves. I do not expect you to fit into any sort of mold or act like you've had photos done before. This experience is made for everyone no matter what.

Everything is connected—I teach and follow Leave No Trace principals during each experiences and donate a percentage from each session to local non-profits working to conserve and protect our wild places.

My fiance and I are getting married in Mammoth Lakes next fall, and wanted to take engagement photos during our annual camping trip to the Mammoth/June Lake area this summer. We booked a session with Jaymie and our experience was beyond amazing. She has such a quick turnaround and her photos are excellent quality. I'm very camera shy but felt comfortable during the session. Her calm and warm nature made it much easier to relax and feel natural. We enjoyed our time with Jaymie so much we would love if she could do our wedding photos as well! It definitely takes patience and a great attitude to try and photograph two cats and a husky at the same time.

You will receive your final photos via a private online gallery within two weeks of your scheduled shoot! You can easily order prints directly through your gallery.

Once we secure your date, I send over my Questionnaire, Location and Style Guide. I want to work with you to find the perfect time and place to make this happen.

Photo shoots with me are full of fun, high energy, and patience. I work with you before our shoot to really understand what kind of photos you're looking for and what makes you and your partner tick. My photoshoots are very little posing and lots of fun!

Pricing & Packages:

I am located in Mammoth Lakes, CA—a little community nestled among the adventure ready Sierra Nevada. Although I call many places home! Like Southern Utah and the red walls of Zion National Park.

Where are you located?

It depends on the shoot—the duration, what we end up doing, etc. These will be edited, high resolution images edited by yours truly and delivered within two weeks of our time together.

How Many Images Are Included?

Have you ever been out on a trail, only to find it completely trashed? Leave No Trace is a set of intentions that, at the heart of it, helps people think about how they can engage in the outdoors while leaving the least impact. 

What is leave no trace?

I accept payments online! I ask for a retainer at the time of booking and the remaining amount the day before our shoot. :)

How Do I Book You?

SAME HERE! I am a major dork and odd ball myself. And I really love people. You have nothing to prove with getting photos taken. If you're feeling awkward, we'll work together to find something that feels more natural for you.

But we are super awkward...

In order to book your date, I require a 50% non-refundable retainer. If you have to cancel, I will work with you to try and reschedule/find a better time for you that fits my availability!

What If We Cancel/Reschedule Our Date?

I have been a photographer for 16 years–it was a tool that helped me find myself as a young teenager and I've been using it to show people the beauty I see (thats you!) ever since. 

How Long Have You Been A Photographer?

As long as the location allows it, heck yes you can! I love dogs so so much. I just ask you might bring a friend along to help be dog wrangler for when we want a few photos without your perfect fur baby.

Can we bring the doggo?

The Eastern Sierra can be tricky when it comes to weather—if there is bad weather where we had planned to go, I'm going to work some magic and find an alternate location for us to shoot at! If that doesn't work then we'll explore other times we could move the shoot to.

What Happens If The Weather Is Bad?

First and foremost, I think it's important to wear something that makes you feel most like yourself. The more comfortable you are, the more that will shine through in photos! I do offer a what to wear guide for each specific location we may go to! This will be emailed to you during our planning process

What Do We Wear To Our Photoshoot?

Adventure Sessions are 1-2 hour photo sessions typically used for proposals, engagements, anniversaries, or just because. We pick one or two close locations and hike up to two miles. Note, this package does not fit as an option for elopements — your wild day deserves more time and attention than that!

What is an adventure session?

For 1-2 hour Adventure Sessions, my turnaround time is two weeks.

What Is Your Turnaround?

I do not charge travel fees for any local to Mono/Inyo County locations—if we create a customized experience that reaches beyond the Eastern Sierra, travel fees will be included in the price!

How Does Travel Expenses Work?

Absolutely. I'm here to help pick the perfect location, recommend vendors, create a time line for your elopement, and SO much more. I love the planning process!
