Morro Bay Engagement Session with California Destination Photographer.

Home is a word that holds any places for me. My current ‘home’ is in the Eastern Sierra. It is also in the red rock desert of Southern Utah. I long to be in both of these places at once. A previous home of mine is the Central Coast of California. I moved to San Luis Obispo, CA after a gap year from High School and stayed just under ten years. During this time I went to school and focused on Photography, dreaming of a life where this is the career I get to pursue. Fast forward to 2021 and this indeed is the career I am pursuing.

It really feels full circle coming back to the Morro Bay to photograph Nicole and Brennan as the photographer, artist, and person I am today. And what fun it was to work with these two at the Morro Bay engagement. The only hiccup was a high wind advisory taking place all across San Luis Obispo County. I was ready to relocate and try to find somewhere new for us to shoot but the moment Nicole and Brennan showed up, the wind died down just in time for golden hour to start.

My partner and I are wrapping up our trip to the Central Coast and the Bay Area. I cannot wait to head back over the Sierra and get back home. Until then, I’ll be soaking in this spring beauty. Thank you Nicole ad Brennan for spending time with me and letting me photograph you! Happy engagement. 🙂
