The park gets a lot of visitors so these rules are here to help adhere to basic Leave No Trace principals. This means your ceremony will need to be small and simple. To find all of the guidelines for having a wedding in the Park click here.

If you want to say your vows within park boundaries, there are a few steps the Park Service asks you to follow. First off, you’ll need to attain a special use permit and submit it, along with the $100 application fee, at least three weeks in advance. Here are a few keep notes to keep in mind as you navigate this:

How to get married in Arches national park:

▸  Wedding permits do not give exclusive access to the area. The area will remain open to
the general public who will be allowed to view the wedding activities.
▸  Any and all decorations will need prior approval.
▸  Throwing anything like rice or confetti and releasing wildlife like birds or butterflies
     is definitely not allowed.
▸  No broadcasting systems will be allowed, noise shouldn’t exceed normal speaking levels.

Jaymie did such an incredible job taking engagement photos for us! She exuded confidence and positivity throughout the shoot and made my partner and me feel super comfortable, despite not having done something like this before. The whole process was a blast and I'm so psyched on the end result! She has a great eye and we ended up with photos I'm in love with. 12/10 recommend working with Jaymie!
